Birthday Card

Lately, I have been making some cards with white CS and loving
them. I got my inspiration from Silke Ledlows blog. All her cards
are stamped on white CS and they are beautiful! I think I will be
stamping on white CS a lot more in the next little while.

Valentine Cards

Love the new designer series paper from the mini
catalogue. Lots of glitter! And check out the pretty in
pink corduroy buttons too. This catalogue is one of my
favorites, it has lots of new stuff! Clear mount stamps,
new style of punches, desiner paper with glitter, cute
new brads and lots more.

Baby Card

I don't know about you but it seems like there are a lot of babies being born lately. So many that I really need a few baby cards on hand. And... since I am going to be a Grandma in February, I decided to get the "Little Angel" stamp set in the new occasions catalogue. I am sure I will be using it a lot in the months to come.
Stampin' Up has come out with a new design in punches. I used the "Pinking Hearts Border" punch for this card. I also used the designer paper called "Sending Love specialty". If you love shimmer you will love this new paper. One side of the paper has glitter all over it. Check it out!

Thanksgiving

Autumn is my favourite season of the year. So needless to say I really enjoy making fall cards. I have seen pumpkins over the years made with ovals and thought they were so neat that I finally decided to try it myself. After I punched the ovals out, I used the sponge dauber to darken the edges and give it a little more depth. I used the large oval punch for the ovals. And the top is actually the smallest arrow from the my way punch. The leaves were cut out on my big shot with one of the sizzlet dies called "little leaves". See the pumpkin to the right? That pumpkin is on the inside of the card with a window sheet or transparency adhered to the front of the card. I used the 1 3/4 circle punch for the window. I love the window effect. And my eyes really love the autumn colours!

Christmas Card

Lots of fun things going on in this card. Especially the new "Shimmer Paint". I used the platinum colour and dabbed it on with a sponge dauber around the edges of the teal. Check out the textured background. I am loving the new impressions folder. I use this folder with my "Big Shot". It is extremely easy and quick to do. Put your cardstock in the textured impressions folder and run it through the Big Shot, that's it! I also used the new ornament punch from the holiday mini catalogue. For those of you who know me, you know I can't pass up a new punch!
