Christmas Card

Lots of fun things going on in this card. Especially the new "Shimmer Paint". I used the platinum colour and dabbed it on with a sponge dauber around the edges of the teal. Check out the textured background. I am loving the new impressions folder. I use this folder with my "Big Shot". It is extremely easy and quick to do. Put your cardstock in the textured impressions folder and run it through the Big Shot, that's it! I also used the new ornament punch from the holiday mini catalogue. For those of you who know me, you know I can't pass up a new punch!
Supplies used;
Stamp Sets: Delightful Decorations and Teeny Tiny Wishes
CS: Whisper White, Teal, Real Red and the Holiday Lounge Designer Paper
Acessories: Shimmer Paint,Ornament Punch, Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Folder, Silver Elastic cord and Rhinstone Brads

Here is a better view of the texture of this card.

Another card using the same stamp set and textured die.

Christmas Card

Here is a traditional red and green Christmas card using the Seasons of Joy stamp set. I tend to use just about any colour combination I can think of when it comes to making Christmas cards.I hardly ever use traditional colours. My daughter on the other hand, thinks you can only use red and green. Even though the green in this card is kiwi kiss and not really a Christmas green she still says "her eyes love this card".When I make a card and she says "her eyes really like it" I know it's a good one.
Supplies used:
CS: kiwi kiss, ruby red and whisper white
Inks: ruby red and kiwi kiss
Stamps: Seasons of Joy and a retired background stamp (can't remember the name right now)
Accessories: gold thread and brad, stampin dimensions

Christmas Card

Another card made with the Home for Christmas stamp set. Except this time I coloured it with my Watercolour Wonder Crayons or by "big girl crayons" as I like to call them when my little ones want to use them. Again, I used the "in colour" from 2008, riding hood red in the CS and ribbon. Don't you love the thick grosgrain ribbon? It is 1-1/4 inches wide and in the 2009-2010 catalogue it comes in a few more colours.

Christmas Card

Home for Christmas is such a beautiful stamp set. I love the country setting. The embossing with white embossing powder makes the image pop off the page.

Inks: black stazOn,versamark and basic grey
Stamps: Home for Christmas, Winter Post
Accessories: silver brad, riding hood red ribbon, silver thread, white embossing powder

Mothers Day

Here is an easy Mothers Day gift and you can make it to match any decor. This "Mom" frame was made with So Saffron and Rose Red CS and DSP. The buttons were made out of the rose red designer series paper, silver elastic thread and clear buttons. I also used a corner round punch to make the scallop edges and two different size circle and square punches. This is a quick and simple gift. Gotta love it!
